4. Get some sunshine.
We think of being in the sunshine often in the summer months. But we need some sunshine in our lives (literally) every day of the year. This can be more difficult, of course, on days when it’s dark and cloudy and raining, or if you live in a climate where there are several months of snow since during the snow, you’re not seeing the sun. But getting some sunlight every chance you have is important. Not only do you get some very much needed Vitamin D, but the sunlight also helps to boost your mood, giving you a “lift” each day.
