5. Drink water.

This is one of the single most important things you can do to make sure you are the best you every day. Our bodies are made up of mostly water, so it makes sense that water helps our bodies to do their jobs more efficiently. There are differing schools of thought when it comes to how much water we should drink every day, but a good rule of thumb is this: take your body weight in pounds, and divide that number by two; that is the number of ounces of water you need to drink each day, at a minimum. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, think 150 divided by 2 is 75. You need a minimum of 75 ounces of water per day.
