2. Exercise.
This doesn’t necessarily mean that you train for a marathon or triathlon. (Although that’s an admirable goal!) As a Mom, you may sometimes find it difficult to find the time to exercise with all of your other responsibilities. But exercise is so important for your health, no matter your age. Most physicians recommend a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise each day. This includes exercise that increases your heart rate so that you can reach the optimum benefits from exercise. Try to carve out the time to exercise. It will improve your overall health, can help you to shed and keep off unwanted pounds, increase your mental clarity and boost your mood. In short, there are no negative effects from exercising, unless you do too much too quickly, so make sure you pace yourself, and always talk with your doctor before starting a new exercise regimen.
