8. Countertops That Come in Contact with Everything
It’s easy to forget just how much our kitchen countertops come in contact with. In my small two bedroom house, most items make it to the kitchen counters before finding their way to the appropriate place later in the evening. Shopping bags, school books, cell phones and my purse are all germ clad items that I toss on my countertops without a second thought. For this reason I use disinfectant wipes to sanitize countertops before cooking and never sit raw food (fruits and veggies) on my bare counter.
