I wonder if you and I have anything in common in our health journeys? I’ve experienced many many years of food intolerances, food sensitivities and a sore gut. My stomach has bloated more times than I can count, and my body has reacted adversely to countless foods. While my focus was on what not to eat, I realized it was my intestines themselves which needed the attention. The lining of my intestines was damaged, inflamed, and in need of some real help! Because of suffering for years with my digestion, other adverse symptoms appeared. My muscles had started to ache – deeply and fiercely. For the last five years, on top of the intestinal discomfort, irregularity and questioning every food I put in my mouth, my muscles were reacting to years of suffering from leaky gut and malnutrition. I was never diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, but I wonder if that pain is similar to what I have experienced. The aching was in my legs, feet, back, radiated down my arms, and I never knew where or when it would show itself. I couldn’t pinpoint the triggered that I was desperate to eliminate from my life, and the gnawing ache in my muscles left me feeling defeated.
