1. Eat well.
If you are what you eat, then you should eat well to be well. Eating well can not only improve your overall health, but consuming the right foods in the right amounts will keep the extra pounds off, decrease your chances of developing cardiac disease, diabetes or having strokes, and can even fight off cancer. The right balance of foods will also ensure that you have the energy you need for the very important job you have of being a Mom.
Being healthy isn’t only about what you do. It’s about being intentional about what you do each and every day to take care of yourself—physically, mentally and spiritually. And when you take care of your own health, you are ready and able to take care of the ones you love and care for, and you can do so knowing that you are at your best so that you can be the best for them.
