2. Garlic
Another antibacterial powerhouse is right in your kitchen. Garlic is known as a broad-spectrum antibacterial. This means garlic fights a wide variety of pathogens. It's also a potent antiviral and antibacterial because of its high allicin content. Garlic is most potent when ingested raw so eating it as is, making a yummy hummus or juicing it with other veggies will render its full benefits. If you can't stand the odor or taste you can take a supplement.
According to Dr. Oz , garlic oil is extremely effective for an ear infection. warm a soft gel of garlic oil in your hand or warm water, remove and poke a hole in it and squeeze the oil into the ear while laying down, infected ear facing up. Stay in this position for 10 minutes or more and then you can roll to the other side allowing the oil to drain. This works great for ear infections for kids too.
