As a wife and grad student I am frequently watching class webinars or writing a paper while making my family’s meals. I forget how much bacteria technology in the kitchen introduces to my food preparation environment. If your laptop or tablet has gone to school, work, your car and other places before sitting on your counter as you type a paper and cook dinner – you run the risk of contaminating your food. Sanitize your technology with disinfectant wipes, or just skip the laptop in the kitchen to reduce the risk altogether.
